The Area
There
are many hotels and B&B's (Bed and Breakfast Guesthouses) within
easy reach of the course, and we have listed some hotels which are
most convenient, even if you don't have a car.
Leamington Spa
Leamington Spa is just 3km form the course, it is on the railway
line from London, and there are frequent buses which take you within
600m of the course. It is a beautiful and prosperous town of approx
40,000 inhabitants, with some fine regency architecture and many
nice shops, bars and restaurants. Convenient hotel close to the
centre of town are Episode

Kenilworth
Kenilworth is an historic town with a ruined castle which dates
back to 1100. It has a population of 23,000 and has a wide choice
of restaurants and bars. You can stay at a Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse,
or there are 3 hotels in the centre of town, the largest of which
is the DeMontfort. It is 5km from the course. There is a frequent
bus service which passes all these hotels, and it is less than a
10 minute ride to get within 600m of the course.

Camping
Camping is at the sports ground of Leamiington Rugby Football Club
just 1km from the Quarry Park course. If you look at the map below,
it is just above the "Bla" of Blackdown. They are charging
us £6/person/night, but we only charge you £4. We are
so kind! The shower block is not luxurious, and a lot of people
will arrive early on Sunday morning for a car boot sale, so it's
not perfect, but very convenient. On the plus side, there is a bar
and plenty of room to throw discs, and we will gather there on Saturday
night to eat takeaway and/or maybe have a BBQ.
Warwick
This is another historic town, with one of the finest complete castles
in the country. It is a major tourist destination. This is almost
as close to the course as Leamington Spa, but you can't get a bus
direct to the course. If you have a car, then it's easy.
Coventry
This is a bigger city of 300,000 located about 15km from the course.
Coventry is very convenient for trains, as it is on the mainline
between London and Birmingham International Airport. A frequent
bus service passes close by the course.
