Three of the best players in the World were in the UK at the start of September, and a strong contingent of QP players travelled to London to play with them at the Croydon Cyclone. For the first round, Adam Storr was drawn in the same group as reigning World Champion Avery Jenkins, and even beat him on one hole! Derek Robins had a great first round to lead the British challenge, and was just one shot behind Avery and 2 behind Nate Doss (World Champion in 2005 and 2007) In fact Derek briefly led Avery at the half way point of the 2nd round. Normal order was then restored as the Americans powered ahead. Martin Smith stole some of the limelight when he scored his first ever hole in one, and with it an "Ace Pot" of £56.
