	Welcome Welcome to the home page for the Quarry Park Disc Golf Course. Situated on Old Milverton Lane on the edge of Leamington Spa, this is a unique facility in Britain, in that the land was purchased and landscaped specifically for disc golf. Disc Golf is a great sport or activity for all ages and abilities, and QP has been meticulously designed to be fair to beginners and challenging to pros. We welcome everyone from family groups and tourists looking for a fun frisbee activity, to professional level players from abroad. Disc golf is great for group outings too - we have had stag parties, sports clubs, scout groups, office outings, church groups, round table etc..... If you are playing the course for the first time, it's good to drop me an e-mail as I can try to be there to show you round. =================== Car Park Please do drive gently. Spinning the wheels damages the surface and it is very expensive to bring in contractors to re-compact it. =================== DIRECTIONS   Facebook Yes, there is a Quarry Park Disc Golf facebook group with 145 members at the last count. All Day Opening

For July and August the course will be open from 10 a.m. every day. The course will remain open until sunset or 9 p.m. on weekdays. At weekends the closing time is 6 p.m.

Parking

Parking is only available at the main entrance. Please do not park at the BPAS Clinic, nor on the road.

14th QP Open

Matt Cutler came out on top after 3 x 18 holes and a 9 hole final. In the Amateur Division QP regular Jesse Denny finally got the tour win that had eluded him for a while. Dan Pommer won the Intermediate Amatue Division. Congratulations to all. There were 56 competitors - a record for the QP Open. Results are here. Piippo wins 2008 British Open

Finlands Villie Piippo had a comfortable victory over Sweden's Robert Buzasy. Quarry Park pro Derek Robins caught Belgium's Pascal Thioux to share 3rd place.

Scottish Open

Derek Robins retained his Scottish Open title, beating Jester Wilson by 5 shots. It was a typical Mull May weekend with fine weather on Friday, gales on Saturday, and driving rain on Sunday. Pictures

QP Inspires Disc Golf in Poland

Following a visit to QP in February, some members of the Polish Rural development delegation have been busy making baskets, and are ready to launch disc golf in Poland. We are very proud to have played a part in expanding the sport in europe. (picture right)

Croydon Titles

A record 61 competitors took part in the first Croydon Cyclone on 19-20th April. Derek Robins won the Open division on the 3rd play-off hole. Meanwhile QP regular Paul Holden upped his game several notches and had a comfortable victory in the Intermediate Amateur division

Conditions

The ground is still saturated in places, so waterproof footwear is advisable if you intend playing all the holes, especially holes 5 and 12. The top 9 mostly drains quite quickly, so if it is dry weather the ground is OK apart from the odd spot on hole 1.

Handicap Events

Monthly Handicap Competition are a great way to meet other players. The cost is the usual green fees plus £1 towards prizes. All standards welcome. Usually the 3rd Sunday in the month. Next one is: - August 17th
